A self-hosted edition of Aethers — run on your own Linux host or container platform, against your own PostgreSQL — is in development. It is not available yet.

Join the self-hosted waitlist at aethers.cloud — the Self-hosted card in Pricing — and we’ll email you when it ships. Telling us what’s driving the need (compliance, air-gap, data residency) helps us prioritise.

What to expect

The planned shape of the self-hosted edition (subject to change until release):

  • Distribution: container image (Node 24 Alpine) — a single docker compose up alongside PostgreSQL 16; native Linux packaging is being evaluated.
  • Requirements: a 64-bit Linux host, PostgreSQL 16+, 2 GB RAM.
  • Migrations: applied automatically on first boot; Aethers owns its schema.
  • Updates: versioned image tags, with release notes at releases.aethers.cloud.
